" I am a multi-skilled apprenticeship trained HGV mechanic with +8 years hands on experience . I have worked on Volvo, Scania, Iveco, DAF,MAN, Freightliner -and UD Nissan tractor trucks as well as tanker trailers equipped with BPW,ROR AND SAF axles . I am confident and proficient with the use of mechanical and electronic service tools to pin point, guide troubleshooting and calibration procedures. I have worked on airbrakes, ,air suspension ,power transmission ,brake ,clutch ,air conditioning and engine systems .I performed preventative and annual statutory maintenance. I am knowledgeable of safe and cost effective repair and maintenance strategies and OH&S concerns in the workshop .I am a quick learner and i have managed to perform safe maintenance and installations in record time to meet and surpass standard rated times .I can weld either stick ,MIG or TIG.I managed to control workshop parts replacement cost by servicing and rebuilding mechanical and pneumatic components like brake callipers ,air valves ,engines and air compressors. I am confident working alone and with in a team. "
